is it weird that i feel bad about 5-star possibly being my fav album cuz i feel like i should feel bad that jisung was struggling during that period and it shouldn’t be my fav album
mhmm i don't think you should. i feel like in that case you could also never enjoy sad heartbreaking songs from an artist if they were inspired by real-life events. it's good that you care but ultimately a song is a song and (i might be projecting here) but i feel like jisung would prefer it if people focused on the music this way (and on loving it!) instead of reminiscing him having a hard time (especially that he's been saying he's happy now), though i get that's what you think about when you listen to it. but then again, would he feel better and would it have changed anything back then if you didn't listen to the album now? i don't think so. in general, we would never be able to properly enjoy any kind of art, really, because everyone is always going through something. idk if i'm making sense i don't know how to structure this response but i don't think you should feel bad. the songs are amazing and i myself love collision more than i love my own family
