i suppose the writing was on the wall given how precariously his rank had been slipping since the first survival announcement, yet i still wasn’t truly braced for the impact :^) it was heartbreaking to hear him admit during the second mission that it might actually be his final stage and that moment alone felt like a shattering blow to those of us who knew his worth.

even after exhausting every vote i had, and even rallying my entire class to join the cause... i spent that entire week in a total daze. the anticipation leading up to that thursday was nothing short of agonizing. i never envisioned someone as talented as park donggyu as a candidate for p24, and i had to actively tune out the relentless rumors circulating at the time just to stay sane. it has certainly never been an easy road as a gyudongdan, but it’s a testament to him that the thought of giving up never once crossed my mind! :-)
