i'm curious to know what was going through your mind when donggyu was named as one of the candidates for p24.. š„²
i suppose the writing was on the wall given how precariously his rank had been slipping since the first survival announcement, yet i still wasnāt truly braced for the impact :^) it was heartbreaking to hear him admit during the second mission that it might actually be his final stage and that moment alone felt like a shattering blow to those of us who knew his worth.
even after exhausting every vote i had, and even rallying my entire class to join the cause... i spent that entire week in a total daze. the anticipation leading up to that thursday was nothing short of agonizing. i never envisioned someone as talented as park donggyu as a candidate for p24, and i had to actively tune out the relentless rumors circulating at the time just to stay sane. it has certainly never been an easy road as a gyudongdan, but itās a testament to him that the thought of giving up never once crossed my mind! :-)
i think it would be even nice if you could put all your threads of donggyuās plus chat comments on wakelet! just a suggestion :D have a nice day~
thatās actually a lovely suggestion, anon! and iāve just curated a wakelet with all my translated threads (only updated it with plus chat, for now), so you can find everything in one place now... the link is up on my rentry, and iāll be sure to keep it tucked with new updates as they come š©· have a wonderful day! :-)
i wanna come to debut showcase of DONGGYU... i rlly want to support him but i can't
i share your sentiment completely, anon! š„ŗ this debut has been a long time coming, and in a perfect world, we would be immersing ourselves in every teaser and showcase performance with nothing but pure excitement. i truly wish i could immerse myself in every detail, starting from the prologue and concept photos to the debut showcase, without having to hold myself back and shower the boys with the praise theyāve earned through years of tireless effort :^)
however, it is a bittersweet reality to navigate when a negative spotlight continues to overshadow the groupās hard work. it truly is taxing to witness the hard work of these six boys being obscured by a negative spotlight they didnāt deserve. all we can do for now is simply have to hold onto our support for donggyu as best we can despite the circumstances.
i love u Hanna..... u did well today... donggyu must proud of you
youāve really been on a roll today!!! thank you for all your hardworks, hana š¤
it really has been a field day! š donggyu has been super interactive today, and itās wonderful to see him in such high spirits after the weekend :-) i honestly hope he never stops yapping! iām happy to keep up as long as heās sharing. and thank you so much for the kind words and for noticing the effort, anon š©·
i want to respect donggyu decision but is it okay to supporting tunexx why it feels so wrong
iām actually caught between a rock and a hard place right now ć ć ”ć while i want to shower donggyu with all the unwavering support he deserves for his debut, it feels morally conflicting to support the group while it includes someone who is actively casting a shadow over their debut. itās heartbreaking because this situation is costing the six members who have worked just as tirelessly as anyone else in this industry to reach their dream.
the bottom line for me is that i want to focus solely on donggyu while still wishing the best for the other five. i simply canāt bear the thought of him feeling like he isnāt worthy of love and support, especially after waiting all this time to finally make his long-cherished dream a reality.
hana do u stan tunexx
i donāt feel it would be morally right for me to support the group as a whole given the current circumstances.
my top priority has always been donggyu, and this account will remain dedicated to him and his journey. with that being said, i still have a lot of heart for the other five members who have worked so hard for this moment š„¹ iāll be supporting the six of them individually as they finally achieve their dream of debuting, while keeping my accountās purpose clear!
hana, is it okay to ask you to retweet the playlist you made for donggyu on spotify? somehow the link on your rentry isnāt redirecting me there š„¹
hello hello, does it mean you wonāt translate comments by other members if they mention donggyu?
hello anon! to clarify, i will definitely translate mentions from other members if they correlate with donggyu. however, iāve decided to be more selective with my time and wonāt be translating every single update that comes across my feed.
iāll focus on the content where i feel thereās a real necessity for a translation, but please remember that my dms and alterspring are always open! i would be more than happy to take specific translation requests there if there is something specific youāre looking for š©·
i completely agree with your opinion on the f1are question. first of all, we really need to focus on donggyu and understand his decision to be in tunexx. we need to boycott bc of sihwan and not because of the fact someoneās personal preference is for him to be in f1are. i really wanted donggyu with hanuriz but as time goes by and i know the innocent trainees who joined tunexx too i feel like itās really disrespectful and weird to try and trend or push the idea of donggyu(+inhu) debuting in f1are instead and leaving tunexx. like letās not forget being an idol is a job and you need to be realistic about your expectations. you canāt seriously think after all this hard work donggyu and the others(except that evil guy) have put into debuting for them to just break the group while so much effort is put into the debut of the group. what we need to do is push the petition for kshās removal instead. once heās out, i believe donggyu and tunexx might have a bright future despite the fact we are talking abt ist entertainment. this is no shade to certain people but dismissing donggyu as just someone from bp2 and that he should debut with other people from there is just ignorant and immature. donggyu really seems to be happy about his debut finally after all these years and itās just sad how people only see him as part of that ideal derivative group idea. imagine also being one of the new members revealed and people wonāt even give you a chance and want your members(gyuinhu) to leave your group bc they dont see you succeeding. that is just sad and we are losing the plot bc tunexxās biggest problem is kim sihwan. if they kick him and all those fans who āsupportā donggyu actually support the group later, tunexx would be successful. every company is evil and bad at management to a certain level but their success really also depends on having a fanbase. weeekly had a bright future but people only tuned in for one or two comebacks and then forgot abt them so of course this affected them and made the disbandment happen so soon into their career. and dont even get me started on the way itās always letās push gyuinhu and never arctic who was just as much on the show as inhu. it really shows that people are just obsessed about getting that f1are lineup instead of accepting anything else even tho donggyu has been working SO HARD all these years and his story is just sad so seeing him achieve his dream finally should be more important. i wish people would just accept him being in the group and only boycott bc of sihwan
i hear all your thoughts, anon, and i truly appreciate how much thought youāve put into this. youāve touched on a very important point: we must separate our personal preferences for āproject groupsā from the reality of the hard work these six boys have invested. after six years of opportunities slipping away, seeing donggyu finally reach his debut is a significant milestone. itās important to respect his journey and the efforts of the other new members who are starting this chapter alongside him.
i agree that the focus should remain on advocating for a safe and reputable environment for the group. the core of the current unrest isnāt a lack of support for donggyu, but rather a deep concern regarding the lineupās integrity. rather than dismissing his current path, our energy is best spent ensuring the group is one that both the members and the fans can be proud of.
at the end of the day, donggyuās happiness and his long awaited success should be our prime focus currently. letās try to support his debut through what we can do within this unrest.
