ah i mean i dont think it's like dead dead? like fans will always be here and writing fics and making art and talking about their silly little ships.

i wasn't into txt during the pandemic but it makes sense that it was a peak for fandom activity with so many people having free time.

but also that's just the cycle of fandom! people find new things to be interested in, so writers leave. and then new ones come!

i just happened to notice that my twt feed feels a lot less active than it did a month or so ago.
