okay ahhh sorry for the delay in response I've been really thinking over how I wanted to word my response to this!

my writing process from start to finish is come up with a fuckass idea in the most unfortunate of times (because I have adhd and I associate everything with my hyperfixiation) and if I am in a spot I can sit down and properly outline I'll do that! if not I'll just drop a little note in my notes app of what the fic idea is or whatever the thought initial was, whether that be dialogue/plot etc, from there I will properly expand the idea into smth tangible I want to write, this is where I will also make a moodboard, find songs that fit the vibe and then get to writing! my writing process is essentially write as much as I can without stopping bc I know if I give myself the chance to go back and edit/read what I've written I will convince myself that I hate it! and then when I am finally at a point that I think okay yes I'm ready for editing and that's where hell happens and I want to die and it takes so long and I still miss things I will reread fics of mine now and change things so in all honesty the writing process is never over!! this is also where I add in like dialogue cues versus just plain dialogue bc I am known to do that, I am a very dialogue heavy person, one of my biggest concerns when writing is does the dialogue flow? do they sound like real people talking? idk ahh idk if this helped at all but that's kind of it 😭

but also mamh yes! I thought it made sense if they'd be better at communication than most of my other fics because beomgyu is the son of a single mom so he's always had to communicate and then Soobin being nearing 40 it made sense that he would also communicate! idk it made sense to me dkslsls

but in terms of writing style! I'm really glad that you like my writing style but I don't think you should strive to have anyone else's style but instead find you own! every writers voice is strictly unique and it all comes down to where you learn from! but like ofc "steal like an artist" and find parts of other people's writing and things they enjoy and implement it into your own voice!

if you want any advice on how to develop your own writing style/tone of voice my greatest advice is to just write! my writing style comes from 10+ years of writing fanfiction and reading books and there have been so many changes and improvements and even deterioration in other areas! your writing is endlessly changing !!
