do you like famicom games... will you play "Space Hunter"?
in theory i like the famicom because the color palette is incredible and the way tiles are handled leads to very cool images.. i have tried very hard repeatedly to enjoy actually playing the games and i do love Sweet Home and Kirby's Adventure and ports of some dungeon crawlers, etc, but the prominence of stiff side scrolling action games on the system has always kind of turned me off sadly, though it was fun to get to the last boss of Ninja Gaiden. i am not very good at games that require precise control and overwhelmingly prefer 2d games to have a prominent sense of a third dimension, like even the perspective on the walls in Sweet Home that makes it look like you're peeking into a distorted shoebox boosts my interest a lot. i do not think i will play Space Hunter but it looks cool.
really loved catching your streams and introducing me to all sorts of interesting, out of the box kinds of games. I'm just glad you're still drawing cool stuff that you like and want you to know you're appreciated!!
i found this really cool song today. what do you think of it?
What do you usually like to do on date-os... (fingers pointing together)
frankly i don't really know anymore.. it's been a while. i guess i am a fan of "going for a walk" or maybe go to arcade though most of the games usually suck. once time i took a girl out to dinner and she revealed she brought the anime Strawberry Panic on dvd and we went to my place and watched that which is probably one of the more memorable dates i've been on.
:) just sharing my smile
hello graohiu i think you're really cool and sweet. this isn't a question.
Would you ever want to do some boxing or sort-sparring with any of your friends? with protective equipment.
Who are your favorite indie comic artists? Folks who sell at zine fairs / fest specifically.
i'm embarrassed to say that i really do not know many.. i don't keep up with the english indie comics world like i did in the early 2010s. i have some old comics from A. Degen and have recently enjoyed Erin Roseberry's books from the ShortBox online comics fair and am a big fan of Laura Knetzger. in terms of irl zine fairs i only really go to Short Run, hit the Glacier Bay (who mainly publish translated manga) and Laura K's tables and then leave because it is always HOT and CROWDED and that stresses me out too much on top of the social interaction aspect to browse much. i do wish i knew more about what was going on in the indie comics world still sometimes but there are so many things in this world to keep track of..
what's a difficult trick you learned that you're proud of. like a fighting game combo or a trick with a yo-yo or lighter or w/e
