TiH anon again!! Omggggg i'm buzzing outta my SKIN RE Minato being a darker character than kakashi acknowledges/realizes bc like while I was reading some of their scenes together i was like..am I just being a pervert (which,...yes v likely) or is there something FISHY going on here. I loooove it when authors explore that side/possibility with minato, especially with kakashi bc even in canon I thought some of his choices re kksh were odd. i imagine that plays into fugaku's perception and treatment of kkshi, too...really making me feel for fugaku bc good lord is his plate overflowing with mess lmao. sweet sweet gai is also the love of my life, he's such a solid rock in general but also in kkshi's life, even when kkshi's being a dick whiiiiich is like, often lol. So excited to see more of him! And omg no rush at all re an update!! Please take all the time you need, it's so clear that a mountain of work goes into writing it and definitely don't want you to feel rushed! Ty again for yapping at meeee, this is legit the best part of fandom and im so grateful that you take the time to answer my word vomit lol π
hellooooo!! oh you can rest assured you're in very good perverted company here sdkjfs and yeah i think minato lends himself so well to darker readings precisely bc of how idolized he is and the fact that everyone considers him this great, kind, purehearted hero (while also being a military dictator who once defeated one thousand people in like 10 seconds)!! its so fun to explore how someone apparently so kind and gentle is actually capable of such atrocities. plus yeah the toya mission was completely made up on my part but even in canon minato absolutely made the worst possible decisions for kakashi time and time again lol
i think i mentioned it once a while ago (when retro still existed i think or maybe cc) but fugaku and minato definately had an agreement that kakashi was never privy to (theres a hint of it during the new years celebration when minato and fugaku go into the tea room) which involved itachi as well and i might elaborate on that in the future but i do think fugaku saw how willing minato was to bargain kakashi's freedom of choice away and that influenced the way fugaku saw kakashi for sure. like he was really just a dog that used to belong to minato and now belonged to him. that changed over time of course, tho i think those contrasting feelings always existed within fugaku until he eventually made some sort of peace with kakashi and is beginning to accept him as more than just the family dog (itachi definately helped with that since he loves his big bro so so much <33)
anywayyy thank you for being understanding i really dont take it for granted π₯°π₯° if you have any other questions or even just want to yap with me some more ill be super happy to oblige hehe thank you so much for all the love ππ
