Do you see writing as an act of self-preservation, or more like leaving breadcrumbs for someone else to follow?

both.

some days it’s the only way i know i exist, like if i write it down, it’s real.

other days it’s more like... leaving notes in the woods.
in case someone gets lost the same way i did.

either way, i hope someone finds them.
even if it’s me, later.
