hello all,
thoughts on personifying parts of earth & our life? like the nature. the sun and the trees.
i personally find it very nice, and it sort of makes me very very happy. it brings a lot of hope for me. i sometimes think this is sort of religious, in a way, but it sort of isn't. it's like, another thing entirely. but closely related.
any thoughts, then, on religions telling of nature? do you believe in reincarnation as it relates to nature? maybe thats why... we'd personify this stuff?
As a buddhist i highly believe in reincarnation hence why im slowly letting go of samsara (aka the world that we live in) , in buddhism specially in vajrayana which is the branch that i follow we are taught that this world is merely a dream and our bodies are nothing but illusions that cover our buddha nature and in order to be reincarnated into pure land or be enlightened we are taught to let go of samsara and anything in it completetly as having obsessions and attachments might eventually lead us to this world again and since i among other buddhists wish to be englightened we do our best to let go of this world wnd our attachments in order to uncover our buddha nature completly ^_^
