thank you for the answer and the insight, sevanno. this is actually my first heartbreak and soon will be my first breakup (like, not breakup yet but i know they don't want to continue anymore) so i'm kinda lost and don't know how to deal with or stop these feelings 😅
I'm sorry for hearing this, anon. It’s totally okay to feel lost right now, seriously. Everyone has been through this phase and there’s no quicker way to heal. The only one thing that you have to do is just need to give yourself time to feel everything first. It’s okay to cry or mad with this situation, just don’t get stuck there for too long, okay? That’s an interesting question, sender. Let’s try not to use 'deal' at this point. We can say 'make peace' instead. Because from my perspective, it was a very long process. First, I did everything I could to keep myself busy so I wouldn’t have time to think about it. It might not work for everyone but that’s the fundamental part. I blocked any access that could make it easier for me to approach them again. The next step was to reflect on what went wrong, what I lacked or what didn’t work in my previous relationship, so the same mistakes wouldn’t happen again. Lastly, time is the best healer. It’s fine to feel gloomy or suddenly remember them but trust me, life always goes on.
