i know that authors say they love people commenting on their fics on ao3, do you think people submitting one of these “asks” on this website anonymously is like the equivalent to a comment? im gonna be honest im really like shy i guess and i would rather leave a comment on here, but im GENUINELY curious!! i am aware though that people need to comment more!!!
i appreciate any commentary on my work but on ao3 is preferred just because it stays with the fic!! like if i answer an ask it gets swallowed p quickly but comments stick around attached to the work! so that's nice and special and i really appreciate comments a lot and i read all of them, even though i don't have the capacity to respond to them all. i hope everyone gets braver to comment!! authors appreciate it so much!
