omg i totally get what u said about carats on priv because the fandom is lovely but I also think alot of the fans are quite . normie readers as in they lurk they read and dont interact.I could be wrong but from my experience I find that svt have less super “niche” dedicated fans compared to other fandoms and usually 90% of readers are more passive where svt isnt their main thing or they dont actively engage in fandom enough to be super active
i really really like carat fandom. i find people to skew older & be more friendly in general, but i do think its a really weird phenomenon where the fandom engagement is off?? i know it may also be getting wonky with enlistment and things moving around, but from what i've experienced i've met some really epic people in svt fandom and they're like ride or dies, but the rps fandom as a collective isn't that great at supporting authors or encouraging them to write more. even encouraging new authors ! (though maybe part of it is that svt is an older group). but yeah idk! much to think about
