hello all,

what do youuu...think of other people? would you say you're good at seeing people as Like You (in all of the metaphysics senses)?

NOTE: metaphysics being the philosophy of the nature of our being. umm. you think therefore you are, you know, so, it's like, on a scale of "only i am real because i am me" to... whatever the opposite is, presumably in full belief of others...

that sounds extreme. obviously you believe in people being people. but how well do you actually practice that?

Cogito, ergo sum.

I think I generally have an okay or better than normal understanding of others in the metaphysics sense. I have crazy hyperawareness problems and I feel this need to be aware the other person is a person to, so I guess against my own will I have that ability. You could also say my hyperawareness hinders me, though, because then I get stuck in a pattern of believing something from someone. I do think others are real and Like Me, as you put it, but I am not fully on the rowboat of "you think therefore you are." The best example is one of my favorite books A.K.A. Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. The belief in reality for me is a bit shaky, for the same reason as Aza in the book, so it's hard to tell whether I am the same for others. I would think I practice that well enough, though, but I can't trust myself enough to say that exactly... THIS IS A REALLY COOL QUESTION BY THE WAY. I like how it makes you think.
