let me start this off by saying i dont believe that minsung are dating.. i cant believe things like that unless they confirm it themselves, because if i were to be so adamant that they are dating, and one day one of them comes out as dating anybody else, id genuinely be heart broken! im not mentally well enough to survive a disapointment like that, which is why i dont draw conclusions about any celebrities relationships just bc of how they act. ive been in a rpf fandom before and learned that for my health its best to stay neutral in observations like that. my love and respect for stray kids is already incredibly parasocial, so i have to put in the effort to remind myself to stay neutral.. plus i dont want me shipping real people to hinge on them actually dating. i think that would defeat the purpose of makebelieve !! i fear that a lot of younger people who are new to rpf fandoms dont understand this sentiment and might hurt themselves in the process.. i keep thikning about taehyung explicitly saying him and jungkook arent dating just bc of annoying persistant fans. id hate if stray kids ever felt pressured to do the same (either to deny OR confirm tbh! both would suck if they do it under pressure). yeag.
but that is to say that my heart always flutters for the love that minsung show each other. i dont have a specific moment. i think what makes me reconize their love most is how they gravitate to each others space literally anywhere. their love is palpable in how comfortable they are in each others space, in the little looks that they share and in touches that are well worn... even if their love isnt romantic, you can really sense that they have a safety and understanding between each other which i adore so much..!!! i feel this way towards all stray kids tbh. im so very well aware that a lot of idol groups are just random people thrown together and they have to sell the fantasy of being a band full of friends who want each other to succeed bc of their bond- but the reality is most of them prob see each other as coworkers! which isnt a crime. but stray kids does really well in showung is that theyre friends, genuinely enojying each others presence (or at least looking really damn convincing!!!).. and imo minsung are in the heart of this. magnetized to each other, wilingly choosing to stand beside each other during their high adrenaline experiences like concerts, choosing to share an apartment together. sighs so loud. it makes me so fond and happy. im just happy they like each other so much, im so happy i get to observe them
