YES! only once, in a sketchy pet store while on a road trip. we had stopped at a gas station to take a bathroom break, and across the street was (you guessed it) a pet store. they had turtles and a toucan which i don't even think is legal first of all, even more so the fact that each animal was just roaming around and there were no cages. but regardless, we were aloud to pet the animals and touched two ferrets, they were soft and like a noodle, we could rub them on the ground in a circular motion--gently-- and they freaking loved it.
10/10 would recommend petting sketchy illegal pet store ferrets
