What would you categorize a person who is "forgiving"? It's inherently neutral to me, but what do people think?
someone who doesn't hold it against a person to be a static personality, ideally. any forgiving person i met adopted it for their ego, to feel the bigger person, to avoid confrontations. didn't matter what happened to them. forgiveness becomes a tool for doormats to run away from hard conversations.
if i understand the question right, it depends on what stuff they forgive to me. if they forgive horrible stuff as if they were nothing then it kinda seems like they're enabling it. if they're forgiving people who are genuinely sorry then that's okay
