true but it’s fiction after all so people can write their versions. if you do write it i just ask that you put all proper tags since the beginning 🙏 there was a mermaid fic and in the middle of the fic a mcd tag got added and it was very shocking
oh nooo I'm sorry that happened... I can assure you that I don't do surprise tags, and I actually have stopped even posting works in chapters if I haven't finished the entire thing in my drafts first so that I can tag for the complete work up front. my cherryween fics are usually just short oneshots and they have skewed more silly/sexy as opposed to dark/scary in the past, but no matter what I do this year, I promise anything I post will have all appropriate warnings! ♡
