omg i read that one too i forgot you were the author 😭 actually i read all fics tagged with seoknen so im a little bit desparete for new ones 🫠😔 anyway thanks for your kind reply love u ❤️🔥
hehe yes that was meeee ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ and I definitely will be back to torment the dolnen tag, I just need a break from the whole process of writing-to-post which might be not writing at all for a while or just doing it in silence (extremely hard for me, because I am always talking about my wips jgsndbjhg). if there's anything else you want to see let me know though! I don't really have any new ideas that are moving me right now. I'm very impressed you've read all the fics that are there already ajegdijgns
Wb going in to es room while the other is masturbating ? Red cheeked ses and sly bbin. Been thinking abt this since forever
Can you share how you manage to finish a fic? I’m writing one too but I keep getting writer’s block :(
this is probably going to be a long answer so apologies in advance!! honestly, it really depends on the fic and what I'm getting stuck on, if anything. the thing that is most likely to leave me in wip limbo is if I honestly have no idea where it's going, so to avoid that, I make sure I have at least an idea of the entire arc of the story I'm trying to write, even if that's a vague concept in my mind of how it starts and how it ends. from there, I find it easier to figure out how I'm going to get from one point to the other. for shorter fics this is usually enough for me, but for longer or more complex stories, I can get really really stuck in the process of writing. my personal most common problems are feeling like something is missing, struggling to make a scene have the impact I need it to have, or questioning if the character's actions or inner process make sense to their primary conflict. I find in these situations one of the most helpful ways to get out of it is talking it through with someone I trust (I am happy to help you any time!) because sometimes, I just need to be prompted to think about something differently to figure out what I need to make it work. I also sometimes use the following exercises to help me, again depending on what kind of fic I'm trying to write:
1) the most basic - outline your story with a basic 3 point beginning, middle, and end. what is the main conflict/main climax point, how do you want it to start and how do you want it to end? then you can use some of these other tools or talking through it to figure out what you need to move between the parts of your story.
2) write a short sentence that describes each scene you have, then a short blurb about the purpose that scene serves. what do you still need to fill in gaps in the story? is there anything that isn't in the right place, or anything that maybe isn't doing anything and needs to be adjusted? you can also apply more to your 3-points to include inciting incident, rising action, and falling action if you want to. I'll attach a photo to this thread with what I'm referencing here.
3) unpack your characters. who's head are we in, what is the main problem or pain point they are dealing with, and how does that influence their behavior? this can help if you're struggling to come up with how to move things, especially a conflict, forward - what kind of misunderstandings could arise or what is something your character would realistically do that would help the reader understand them better?
you don't have to do all or even any of these things if you don't find them helpful, or if you are just writing something short and don't need/want to dig so deep into things, I just wanted to share some things that have been helpful to me and honestly I just enjoy talking about writing and the process. everyone writes differently and to accomplish different things so if none of this is helpful, that's also okay!!! if it is or you want to talk more about anything specific you're struggling with, reach out to me anytime ♡
hi, im not briize but seoknen got me hooked on lately and i found your works on a03. realy big fan of them especially i read the one with kittybini several times and still fills me with joy. i always check ao3 as hoping to see your new works 😿 i enjoyed kittybini so much but i would love to see omega bini alpha seok either if you are interested with the genre of omegaverse 🙏🏻
the seoknen effect... glad to have you and thank you for reading my works! I probably won't be working on anything new (or at least posting anything new) for them for a while, but I actually have already written an alphaseok/omegabin omegaverse fic! you can read it here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/64163923/chapters/164652721 (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
what is a trope you want to see more in the dolnen tag?
I'm not really particular about tropes themselves, but I would love to see some more quirky/nontraditional au premises! one of my favorites is like double cherry pie (https://archiveofourown.org/works/65212552) and you all know I'm loving upyr software (https://archiveofourown.org/works/77733136/chapters/203618996), plus basically any biniselixir au is always very creative like this; pulse diagnosis (https://archiveofourown.org/works/65597623/chapters/168888679) is another example but that one appears to be indefinitely unfinished, and I haven't started it yet but I have a feeling that the baramsae groom (https://archiveofourown.org/works/80722076/chapters/212024431) will fit the bill! I've mentioned before that I don't feel really strong in worldbuilding as a writer myself, and I just love fics that introduce concepts that I wouldn't have thought of or play with less common settings/roles for the characters. but honestly, I am always happy to see anything (⌒▽⌒)♡
haven't read the last chapter yet because i'm not ready to let kittybin and daddy es go AHHHH but as usual THANK YOU FOR THIS SCRUMPTIOUS MEAL CHERRY
soft dolnen taking up extra headspace in my mind these days 🥺 can't tell if wb or es softer for the other though
personally, I think it's es (´꒳`)♡ the way I see them, wb feels/loves very intensely while es is quieter/more gentle. they are both very attuned to each other but I think es has a tendency to show that in a much more soft/subtle way whereas wb loudly announces his affections, hehe. they balance each other well and I think bring out a bit of their own sides in each other, though!
YES PLEASE CHAPTER 7
