initially, i was a bit hesitant to relate ww to judas, since, as you said, there's a very negative historical (and religious) perception surrounding his character, and i wouldn't want to imply ww is a malicious, corrupted person! however, i felt compelled to headcanon him as such, precisely bc of more recent theories suggesting judas had a different (deeper) bond with jesus than the other apostles, despite his skepticism towards the miracles and his acts of sabotage against jesus. the way jesus let him in his inner circle and entrusted him important matters (like managing the treasury), thinking he could break through judas' thick skin and fully convert him into a faithful, good-natured person... maybe he was simply aura farming, or maybe he actually developped a more personal connection w judas and saw him as smth more than a challenge. as a non-religious person who grew up in catholic circles, i think it's an intriguing reinterpretation to explore and pin wonchan dynamics to (always in a lighthearted way, ofc).
