1. i wanna first say that ofc everyone is entitled to their own opinions just in case i come off as a hater. this isn’t personal 😭 though some of them def go against the grain of the general fandom’s current tastes, it’s not meant to be an attack on anyone who disagrees lmfao
2. genuinely i do hc every member as switch and vers. like it is a matter of what fits the plot, yknow? although ive got preferences, i do my best to get out of my comfort zone with some stuff when it comes to writing just as a challenge for myself. i think everyone should try it!

- ok this is a general thing. but something abt this fandom (and frankly the culture of top/bottom discourse as a whole) that drives me nuts is how people talk abt bottoming and submission as something that’s inherently degrading… when that genuinely is the furthest from the truth. i see it a lot for jeongyeon and momo, and i guess it’s just bc they’re labeled as the group puppies, but there seems to be some fans (whether they bias them or not) who are just very excited to take any and every chance to humiliate them, and that includes when they talk abt them as subs and/or bottoms (or even omegas). idk man. a lot of the root of the problem in general is just straight up misogyny, which i could go on for days abt that, but i’ll cut it here. i just have a bit of a chip on my shoulder when it comes to how people speak abt jeongyeon and momo sometimes- i don’t rlly see it with any other member. hope that made sense bc it does to me and i just got home from a baseball game so i feel like i’m half dead rn lmaooo

- side point abt nayeon for a sec too, but a while ago there was this running joke among some shippers (i won’t name the ship but some of y’all may know) where it was like. “yeah nayeon gets away with whatever she wants bc she’ll just beat [redacted member].” and i, personally, think that’s really gross to joke abt. sorry to be sensitive but as an abuse survivor i don’t think i’ll ever find these jokes funny, and i also think it’s rlly fucking awful that people would go that far to compare nayeon to an actual abuser, to take joy in making fun of the other member of said ship suffering to That point. like i said some of y’all will def know but… shrug. and ofc yeah, if that’s how you cope with shit you’ve been through, i do get it. i don’t expect anyone to have to like list their traumas out in order to justify any jokes or fics or whatever, plus your coping skills are your own- but i do beg of some of y’all to consider how it might affect other abuse survivors before you hit tweet. ok moving on ily mwah
- now onto sana. y’all. good lord the mischaracterization of minatozaki sana needs to be STUDIED. once again i know that evil toxic femmes (and toxic yuri in general) is all the rage rn. and yes i do love them so much. but once again that just… isn’t sana 24/7 to me. i agree that she’s a flirt, she’s a tease, she can be a little manipulative, and she is bossy as all hell… but she’s also the sunshine of twice. that girl is happy as hell and sweet as damn sugar. she’s insanely intuitive of the other members’ emotions, knows every single one of them well enough to know exactly what to do when they’re having a hard time. she’s the glue that keeps that group together. i wish more fics explored that side of her, too. like she’s goofy, she can be a loser- definitely gives me the type of person who embarrasses herself worse so that her crush doesn’t have to take the full fault when they do something embarrassing, yknow? like ugh i could go on and on and on abt sana. she’s amazing. she’s talkative and bubbly and helpful. but people are so distracted by her inherent cuntiness that it comes across as like… if you’re not writing her like this, you might as well not be writing her at all. it’s sort of why i shy away from writing her in general bc the fanon sana is what everyone wants to see rn, and idk, i feel like i’m doing it wrong 😭 so yeah… hope this made sense. moving on.
- i have genuine beef with anyone who acts like smc is just not capable of fucking at all. like. sighs. i’m not saying you HAVE to write them- hell i have yet to officially write dahyun or tzuyu as an mc, as bad as i want to. but to act like 1. they’re not the grown adults they are and 2. there’s nothing interesting abt them bc they “can’t” fuck is just horse shit. i guess this is less abt chaeyoung and more abt dahtzu bc chaeyoung happens to be part of a major ship ive seen plenty of smut of (shout out michaeng), but still. it feels like all the smut ive read that features dahyun and tzuyu is several years old atp, and i don’t see much of it nowadays. stop ignoring those girls!!! and make them complex!!
