happy new year!! ✨️ thank you for sharing the joy of stories with me, i wouldn’t be here without you 💜 i’m a little heartbroken that my life isn’t allowing me to write much these days and i’m looking longingly at my laptop while grinding away at work, but hopefully the new year will be kinder in that regard. it is the bts year after all! i'm really excited to see what kinds of adventures we’ll all get to take on ☺️

hi you 💜 thanks for dropping by, i really appreciate it a lot 🫶 i’m drowning in work and family-related things, but otherwise, everything is alright! slowly working on insight ch8; the draft is at 10k words but not a single scene is actually properly written/finished yet, so i’m expecting it to be a little longer than usual. i should have some free time during the christmas holidays, so i’m keeping my fingers crossed that i can make some real progress. i hope everything is okay with you too! xx

i was very pleasantly surprised to find pim stones' we have it all on the playlist for un/guided although i haven't read it yet (the music taste, seriously, could you be any more perfect?) and i was wondering if yk 'the life we could have had' by pim stones as well. the aesthetic of the song makes me think it could match yours if you ever did actually write mcd
the pim stone appreciation club convenes!! what an artist. i don’t know if the lyrics of “we have it all” necessarily reflect the themes of un/guided perfectly, but i am very much a mood writer & i can easily loop a song for ten hours straight in my headphones if it matches the atmosphere of the scenes that i’m writing, which the song absolutely did at the time. the eerie and suspenseful soundscape paired with the tortured yet stunning vocals was everything.
it’s been almost five years & i wrote the fic in 2,5 months to make the in bloom deadline, so nowadays i think that the fic could use a gentle rewrite, but at the same time, it is the product of those insane yet amazing 10-11 weeks of writing, so who am i to judge and touch it now? listening to the song always reminds me of that time.
for sure, if i ever end up writing mcd, “the life we could have had” will be included in the playlist 🤍

Their bodies move, inelegant and desperate and hot, less than easy until it is, until Jeongguk says, “I have the baby monitor on,” and he’s about to ask if that’s okay, and maybe other couples have it easier, but this is how it is for them.
But Taehyung just pushes the hair out of his face, their breaths touching, and he says, “Okay,” then he slides inside of him like he’s coming home, and maybe, Jeongguk doesn’t have to carry the whole world alone.
