(dont post i just want to vent) i don't even want doyoung to be the leader, I want him to be able to focus most on his own stuff. but NCT needs leadership it always falls on DY because ty does nothing. hope ty proves me wrong and actually makes a statement backing up dy up!!!!!!! but he won't!!!!!
ncity would in hysterics no matter what, but it would be worse if dy hadn't said something. and even if dy said everything exactly right, people are still going to be upset, WHOEVER made that message was gonna get hate that's just part of fans grieving, and delivering that message anyway is the burden of being the LEADER. also this isn't ty's fault (i assume) but its enraging that dy kept everything in order while ty was enlisted and AS SOON AS dy leaves it all falls apart. all the work, none of the reward. my heart will break for him if nct disbands while he's enlisted. after everything he gave them.
... no one else besides dream and dy have spoken up yet? really? damn 💀
I'm going to be honest, I don't like that doyoung takes the initiative to do these things. I respect it, I think it's a lovely trait of his character, but I don't really appreciate it. like you said, he's always stepping forward to act like a leader and the backlash falls on him while others sit comfortably in silence and no one says a word. then his words get twisted and used against him all the time. I have no patience for this any longer and yeah, the rest of them will just be quiet and let their fans run around wildly. chenle is a very good example of how to properly address this but I think it's a bit too much to ask from the others.
