(joking anon this is an inside joke with oomfies sorry 😭) the actual reason is that I work traveling so the flying/accommodation expenses are much more cheaper, which helps a LOT you know 😭 then it's just planning properly for tickets and other expenses and being a tiny crazy and financially irresponsible cause you only live once

feel like nctzens don’t appreciate the fact that while doyoung’s ambitious he also cares about the group. him juggling his musical performances and momentum concert is actually insane. he could’ve easily said fuck it to the concerts and perused his solo work.
to be fair they just don't care about his solo work in general 😭 127zens only care about him if he's serving the group or enforcing the 127agenda and it's quite funny. You see, the example you mentioned, as a solo stan and someone with sense I would very much rather he focused on the musical only and completely missed the tour which he himself got sick during it and forced himself to go on stage. the musical was a much more interesting opportunity for him, however, it was clear he wanted to be in the tour and give his best, so that was very much respected. group stans don't usually give the same grace. they want group activities only and didn't really care about the musical and the struggle of juggling, even called him selfish later on for having his solo cb and whined about an encore like crazy it's really interesting to see this dynamic going on between group fans where they don't realise they're the ones being entitled and under appreciative

(dont post i just want to vent) i don't even want doyoung to be the leader, I want him to be able to focus most on his own stuff. but NCT needs leadership it always falls on DY because ty does nothing. hope ty proves me wrong and actually makes a statement backing up dy up!!!!!!! but he won't!!!!!
ncity would in hysterics no matter what, but it would be worse if dy hadn't said something. and even if dy said everything exactly right, people are still going to be upset, WHOEVER made that message was gonna get hate that's just part of fans grieving, and delivering that message anyway is the burden of being the LEADER. also this isn't ty's fault (i assume) but its enraging that dy kept everything in order while ty was enlisted and AS SOON AS dy leaves it all falls apart. all the work, none of the reward. my heart will break for him if nct disbands while he's enlisted. after everything he gave them.

I'm going to be honest, I don't like that doyoung takes the initiative to do these things. I respect it, I think it's a lovely trait of his character, but I don't really appreciate it. like you said, he's always stepping forward to act like a leader and the backlash falls on him while others sit comfortably in silence and no one says a word. then his words get twisted and used against him all the time. I have no patience for this any longer and yeah, the rest of them will just be quiet and let their fans run around wildly. chenle is a very good example of how to properly address this but I think it's a bit too much to ask from the others.

this is my thought and not expecting anyone to agree so dont post bc valentines will get mad but im surprised kfans are more shady to mark than jaehyun who highley the more selfish member in all this he bounced as soon as his solo finished so he wouldnt have to do a worthless world tour with 127 which he knew he wouldnt benefit from. the members staying and touring was just to keep 127 name alive and mark stayed for that while also promoting with dream while jaehyun dgaf and left bc it didnt care enough to stay
in all honesty I think jh is smart asf for that 😭 I wish dy had been that smart. the momentum was kind of a nothingburger tour that benefit none of the soloists, only those who have nothing but 127 going on. jaehyun was pretty smart and I guess there's a lot of other factors that shaped that decision too — solo promotion being on a very bad time, military band, etc. so it's not really him being entirely selfish and I bet this is how 127zens see it too. but honestly, makes no sense to call any of them selfish for leaving, and if jaehyun leaves after he returns, I think they might turn on him too, unfortunately
