i called them traditional/non-traditional based on the common omegaverse dynamics! if i had to explain, i'd say a traditional mating run is how it'd be done usually, i.e. an alpha chasing after the omega they wish to bond with.

a non traditional mating run, on the other hand, would be an alpha being chased by another alpha, an alpha being chased by an omega, or even an omega chasing another omega; you can play w the dynamics however you like !!
