honestly i wouldn’t mind you knowing who i am, but i still think the anonymity is more fun. it’s like you’re blindfolded and you have to try and recognize me just by the feel of my teeth on your skin
i prefer being blindfolded 😋 it aids in a few ways!
for one: the veil of anonymity means folks are more free to confidently say/admit/act out/ask for whatever they may wish, free of embarrassment or harsh judgement, whether they're completely unhinged or just shy! its entertaining to see folks desires on display so shamelessly~
two: there's no commitment or expectation, if i don't like somethin', i don't gotta engage with it or confront anyone about it afterward
three: just as you said, i have no idea who you are~ you could be a total rando, a regular in my chat, an acquaintance i've barely spoken to, a friend poppin' in to surprise me- hell you could be someone i fuckin' hate, the mystery just makes it that much more exciting 💛 i could maybe guess who's who based on descriptions, preferences, sometimes even the way people type and the emojis they use! but i'd hate to just assume and ruin the surprise, ykno~
