but if the question is would they have hooked up sooner? absolutely not. even if chan heard anything he would’ve jumped through so many mental gymnastics hoops to justify that that was NOT what he was hearing, jeongin just burned himself on the hot water and that little whimper was a whimper of pain, because chan was not ready at that time to give into what he wanted. the car was such a moment of weakness, brought on by the privacy and intimacy of the setting and also the unbearable tension of the day. and it took forcing him into such a desperate corner and actually having to reckon with the thought of losing jeongin for him to finally give in.
