“Hit me,” Jeongin says, pushing his empty glass towards Felix, who’s much closer to the half-full margarita pitcher on their table.
“What’s the magic word?” Felix sing-songs.
Jeongin has had two already, and he’s feeling a little giddy. Blinking his lashes, he makes his eyes as wide as possible and says, “Please?”
Felix gives a dramatic, full-body shiver. “Goddamn,” he says, snatching Jeongin’s glass up and refilling it. “Tell me you beg like that when Chan asks you too.”
Jeongin feels his cheeks flush hot. “Sometimes,” he says. He lifts his glass, taking a long drink, then eyes Felix over the top of the rim. “If I say it a certain way, he’ll do anything I ask.”
Felix’s eyes light up, and he sits forward, leaning close to Jeongin and speaking in a conspiratorial whisper. “Oh?” he says. “Such as?”
Jeongin covers his cheeks with his hands, his face burning. It’s so embarrassing, but… a part of him does want Felix to know.
“Just something I call him,” he mumbles.

HI DEAREST ANON WHAT AN INCREDIBLE QUESTION. i mean the easy answer is he would’ve heard innie jorkin it. but innie did listen carefully to make sure there were no more sounds coming from the bedroom before he wrapped his hand around himself and let his head fall back under the spray… so chan would’ve had to have snuck back in extra silently in order to hear anything, and by then deiji would probably have started yelling for shower assistance and chan would’ve had to give himself away.

but if the question is would they have hooked up sooner? absolutely not. even if chan heard anything he would’ve jumped through so many mental gymnastics hoops to justify that that was NOT what he was hearing, jeongin just burned himself on the hot water and that little whimper was a whimper of pain, because chan was not ready at that time to give into what he wanted. the car was such a moment of weakness, brought on by the privacy and intimacy of the setting and also the unbearable tension of the day. and it took forcing him into such a desperate corner and actually having to reckon with the thought of losing jeongin for him to finally give in.
