anon i have been deliberating long and hard over what constitutes a trope to answer this question!! i love unresolved sexual tension. i love mutual pining. i’ve only written it once but i’m a big fan of sickfic. is hurt/comfort a trope? that one goes right to my heart

WHAT A DELIGHTFUL QUESTIONAKSBFKSNDBD i personally am sipping on a hard cider but i have thought about this and Will think about it more:
chan: old fashioned, i know he’s not a big drinker irl but i just see him as a whiskey man, it’s so classic, such a dad drink, he likes the lil cherry at the end 😋
minho: if anyone is drinking a dirty martini it’s this one here, gin obviously, he has the stomach for it and likes them extra extra cold
changbin: SOMETHING SWEET AND FRUITY my man loves a strawberry mojito and is completely clueless to how obnoxious that makes him to his bartender, but they can’t even bring themselves to care bc he’s so charming and tips so well
hyunjin: something classy in a coupe, a last word or a paper plane, maybe a sidecar if he’s feeling fancy
jisung: rum and coke but he calls it a fucking cuba libre and everyone laughs at him
felix: WHATEVER YOU’RE DRINKING bro is buying shots and throwing em back, i think he’d like something obnoxious like a green tea shot but also he’d be like have you heard of this great liquor called jameson
seungmin: local IPAs
jeongin: panics and googles “good cocktails” and somehow ends up drinking an LIT

Hihi!!! I just wanted to come and say I enjoy gpct SO much. Like. So much. Rereading for maybe the 7th time much. The way u write is BEAUTIFUL and I even giggle at the dialogue quite frequently. Seriously one of my top 2 favorite fics EVER. I think about it all the time. It’s so good and u should be so proud of it!!! Ok that’s all, thank you for writing this masterpiece 🙏🙏

Hello again, it's the non-fandom-inclined, deeply-obsessed-with-GPCT anon from yesterday! I actually had a question that didn't make it into the original message lmao. My first fic of yours was "a good hit (below the belt)," and that changed my brain chemistry for the better, legit opened my third eye type shit. I wanted to know if you have a fic that you are especially happy with/proud of/have a soft spot for?
hi again!! hmm a favorite child… in term of content, anyone can be anything (you can be everything) is my most personal fic, i’m very emotionally connected to it because i was using it to explore my own sexuality. in terms of writing quality, take my pearl and bodyguard down are ones that i reread and am like oh she ate with this one 🤭 i have a soft spot for picture me because i labored over it and it almost became a jeongchan thesis for me, and those are my two special boys. and of course, grand pianos is one of my proudest works. i mean it’s almost 200k i’ve never written anything that long in my entire life.

hello lovely dia, so u have any tips on how to finish a fic.. I feel like all of the endings I wrote are so lacking, I can never get it quite right!!!
hi lovely anon!!! hrm. i’m trying to think. every fic has different needs obviously. i usually write explicit fics so for me it’s usually… once the sex is done? with a little winding down afterglow cuteness? and after a few lines of dialogue i usually settle on one that seems like a nice place to end it. your last line can totally just be a line of dialogue! my only actual tip would be to not settle for an ending you’re dissatisfied with just to get it over with. you want to be happy with every line before you post!! sorry if that wasn’t helpful at all 😅

I don't really engage with fandom nowadays, but you absolutely have to know that "grand pianos crash together" is my new obsession and it's taken root in my brain. Thank you so much for writing -- I'm at the edge of my seat with every update and am eagerly anticipating how it progresses! Like legit it's soooo good omg bless your brain for this meal

VERY curious to know if there’s one SKZ member that you find harder to write than others in your fics? For me it’s Hyunjin 😭 god knows why but I struggle so hard with that boy
ooooooo i get it, i think i’ve definitely found my rhythm with hyunjin but he took a second! he’s a complex little guy.
they’re all complex little guys. will i make me sound like i have the world’s biggest ego if i say the answer is no? i feel all eight of them in my bloodstream LMAO, i can hear all eight speak in my head. some of their voices are quieter and more subtle (minho, seungmin) some are so simple once you understand what makes them tick (chan, jeongin, hyunjin) and some are so loud and obvious that they’re hard to write wrong (changbin, jisung, felix). there are things i find hard about writing but they’re not usually member specific—the characterizations are what comes naturally.
