The shifting perspectives has created a really fun but suspenseful method of progressing the overarching story. Do you get personal satisfaction from having built-in cliff hangers? They make me YEARN for updates far ahead (I'm not complaining) but reading it as a wip is such a good frustration. I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING RN. But also the anticipation is yummy. Anyway, love this fic & your writing ♡
WAHHH THANK YOU!!! i do and i don’t, bc on the one hand the cliffhangers are narratively satisfying but on the other hand i am not immune to them!!! and then i too yearn for the next update but the only way to get it is to write it myself HAHA
but they do make it very hard to get bored while writing. bc as i’m working on one chapter i’m always getting excited for the new perspective in the next one. it keeps things fresh in terms of the writing process!
