pls help a girl out 🥹🥹 there's this one solboo fic where seungkwan was a paramedic and hansol was part of a gang, and like they kept meeting by chance until eventually a shooting happened and seungkwan and seokmin as paramedics had to go help hansol's gang out?? like it was a whole thing and then at the very end i think seungkwan got kidnapped by a rival gang and hansol saved him it was so amazing and ive literally thought about it ever since, it's on ao3 too!

to follow up: again not me making any claims about vernon because i don't know him and i know how people like to act when this stuff is brought up HOWEVER i would like to mention how making claims about someone you do not know can indirectly harm and contribute to harmful ideas / assumptions that exist surrounding people who appear different

this is not to start up any discourse or armchair diagnose but i don't think people notice how so often the traits they point out in vernon are overwhelmingly prevalent in nd people and as an autistic carat who relates to vernon a lot in the ways he comes across as 'socially awkward' i guess it's just like...? bc he is so kind and very clearly cares deeply about people and it's crazy when i see people say he's not! not everyone shows their feelings in the ways YOU deem 'appropriate' and that's okay :(

As a Boosadan and a Carat: if you genuinely think Vernon doesn't care about Seungkwan you (not you, but the anon who said hvc doesn't care) need to pay better attention AND also realize that we know nothing about how they are off camera. Not everybody expresses affection in the same way. Shipping is also just whatever we make of it btw.
you're exactly right anon. it's a complete disservice to vernon as a person to imply that he treats ANY of his members badly. like whatever, if you prefer the chemistry between seungkwan and another member that's great! if you don't like solboo as a ship that's also fine, but don't 1. make it my problem, and 2. use it as an excuse to hate on vernon

unnie I know u like to ship. but as a boosadan have some standards please. You can clearly see who treats him well. Vernon is just do bare minimum to seungkwan. there’s a clear difference between people who genuinely welcome his affection and Vernon who seem distant from it.
i’ve already had this conversation with other anons so i’m not going to fully get into it again, but with shipping aside it’s very clear that he does care about him if you pay attention. i really think that people who believe otherwise simply do not understand the kind of person he is. also i don’t really know why you’re even here if you don’t appreciate that i like solboo
