Accusing Vn of queerbaiting as if he isnt anti fanservice
i think vn understands that fanservice is part of his job and DOES participate in his own ways, but not in the same way or extent as other members might do. i understand what you mean when you say he hates it, because he definitely doesn’t engage in your “typical” fanservice, but idk if i would say he hates it because he knows it’s part of being an idol (unless you mean specifically the gay stuff, like when that stylist tried to put the sk badges all over his outfit and he pushed back on it)

with vn it’s less getting a “vibe” from him and more that he quite loudly (or loud for an idol at least) positions himself with that community. wearing pride collab stuff, working and supporting queer artists, the gay bar photoshoot, just to name a few. it could very well just be him being a ally, but i do think there’s something very deliberate about the way he presents himself

my favourite is definitely the one with the gun down his pants, and not just because i'm a pervert lol. i genuinely feel like it's got a much deeper meaning to it than just being sexy. i was talking to my lovely oomf del about it earlier and the overtones of sex and gender as it pertains to the idol persona (particularly how the idol exists as a sexless sex object and the complicated way that would make a person feel about their body and sexuality). it's such an interesting photo and i wish i could pick his brain about his thoughts on it!
