mine is mia, singasong, ratrace. honestly I thought v8 album wouldn't be this good. bcs I don't enjoy listening to hyperpop or edm genres. and im not even dolly to say i like it bcs of vernon. but really vernon got my respect.

in the end vn getting dragged left and right for rejecting sk proposal.
and for no reason!! they already knew that musically, dk is a better fit for seungkwan, and minghao is a better fit for vernon- at the very least for their first duo projects of this scale. i stand by that seungkwan asked mostly to stir up drama. that’s not to say they can’t work together on something in the future, but for now dxs and v8 made the most sense

Here’s the post to OP talking about the vernon thing. It’s in chinese tho. but basically the whole thing is mingyu joked ab how Vernon looked like his clothes had 10kg weight on and he works out on stage and members teased him to show his workout results which made seungkwan immediately respond “no no i cant accept that” and then quietly added “if you really like to then i can accept anything” lol

I always see you uplifting other writers/artists and being so encouraging and nice and it’s so lovely and makes carat twitter a little nicer to be on for me, you’re a big part in making the creative spaces feel like a community and welcoming and seeing you be so encouraging reminds me to be so as well. (I also really love your art and writing and you deserve endless praise for that too. You bring so much joy with what you create and i’m grateful you share)
this is such a kind message… thank you so much anon! i genuinely do it for the love of the game, and i just know what it can feel like to work hard on something and feel like it doesn’t get enough recognition. writing in particular i feel like is SUCH a labour of love that the average person doesn’t praise nearly enough. i know i can’t comment on or share EVERYTHING, but i do try my best to do so as much as i can

it means so much to me how dedicatedvernon is to always advocating for individuality and self-expression regardless of what others think and how he never fails to assure members and fans that its ok to just be yourself and that you dont have to change to fit into other peoples standards. i think especially in the kind of industry hes in its so important how he is not only unapologetically himself but accepts and loves others as they are. i just think hes so kind & such a welcome character in the idol space
