Alastor married Vincent’s mother and he was actually very in love with her deeply so and he loved Vincent, but after a terrible terrible accident Vincent’s mother is dead
Leaving both Vincent and Alastor grieving heavily, but Alastor realizes something Vincent looks identical to his mother black hair, different colored eyes and then alastor has an idea alastor Will have his wife again, even if he has to force his own son to take the role
Alastor starts, forcing Vincent to grow out his hair wearing make up making Vincent wear his mother’s old clothes, and even a chastity belt and now Alastor has a beautiful son wife

Making Vincent wear her perfumes, too, fondly asking him "Remember our first date?" and Vincent dutifully recounts what play Alastor took "him" to see and then how they danced to whatever song; he knows his lines. Even when Al says calls him by the wrong name, he only flinches a little, because all of this is worth it for not being left alone, for having something of a father figure, someone who LOVES him. A version of him. Ahhh!!
