I'll be honest, rosemedia (or staticrose, rosemedia, etc) has never been much my thing, tho I absolutely see the appeal! And the ship dynamic has definitely became more interesting to me now that I know she's Al's owner😂 So it's likely I might dabble, but nothing is pinging me atm.

More Alastor/owner musings:

I still prefer radioqueen and I really hope it won't die out completely with the canon reveal. Personally, I don't think I can simply just transfer the same toxicity/abuse I've been enjoying with radioqueen to radiorose, because their dynamic IS different, and Rosie doesn't have that yummy factor I really loved with Lilith: that she is close to both Charlie and Lucifer, two people Alastor has to constantly be around - and Charlie, even grows to care for, despite how triggering her appearance and connection must be to him!

But what Rosie does have is being close to VOX. There is no waayyyyy she hasn't seen first-hand their friendship blossoming, I think it's very likely that she insisted on Alastor introducing his new friend to him, he was probably over for tea many times... And my current running theory is that she does have something to do with the radiostatic breakup. I have lotsa delulu ideas, BUT EVEN IF SHE DOESN'T, the revelation that Rosie owned Alastor all this time WOULD definitely affect Vox, and probably rewrite his entire history with Alastor and Rosie both.

To sum it up: nothing is currently pinging me with radiorose, but as we learn more in canon, and especially if we get confirmation on how she fits into the radiostatic mystery, that will probably change >:3

I'm very protective of aro Alastor so I don't actually want anything explicitly romantic from Alastor in canon (from HIS end, that is). That's what fic is for! Tho even in fics, I like to keep him aro-spec - which does NOT mean he can't be incredibly fond of Vox and have intense soft feels for him. I like mutual radiostatic where the type of love they have for the other isn't the same, but it's mutually intense, and works for them both, you know? <33 (That said, I enjoy demiro fics as well; Al with a crush is adorableeeee) But yeah, no, I personally don't want that to be canon.

But like I said, I do want them to reconcile their friendship, and then in fics we could use that as a jumping point for future radiostatic. I think Vox's romantic feelings for Alastor are pretty explicit canon by now: it wasn't said in as many terms, no, but all the little gestures, the expressions, the blushing - it's very clear that Vox was in love with Alastor, and likely still has semi-buried feelings under all the hurt and anger.

I also do think that he and Val have a good thing going, and I wouldn't want radiostatic to jeopardize that. (The Vees as a package deal! Do Not Separate!!) I'm firmly team "staticmoth can only ENHANCE radiostatic, actually". Val and Vox are both poly, and Alastor doesn't care, so I don't think there would be issues with them maintaining a polycule. And I think Vox dating Val too HELPS the radiostatic situationship remain at a healthier level, because that way Vox has Val to go to for all the affection and romance and sex he needs. Even if Al adores him and they have sex sometimes, it's very clear that Vox's sexual and emotional needs surprass that of Alastor's.
So if we have staticmoth as well, Alastor isn't solely responsible for satisfying Vox's sexual and emotional needs - which is less pressure on him, and less chances of resentment/greediness from Vox. My ideal scenario is when Vox and Alastor are primarily friends, Vox openly in love with Alastor and Al comfortable with that; Al also very fond of Vox; and them engaging in kinky sex sometimes, for intimacy, kink and power play. (You can take extreme kinkster ace Alastor from my cold dead hands.)

This is pretty much all fanon though XD Looking at it from a strictly canon view: I don't think we'll ever get mutually romantic radiostatic (which, like I said, I'm HOPING for bc it's nice to have aro representation) but I have seen nothing so far that would make a platonic reconciliation impossible. We're not even halfway trough the series, Vox is likely going to be at his worst now - and I think messing up with the rest of the Vees too -, but that still gives us two more season for him to claw his way back up and fix the relationships he cares about: the Vees AND Alastor, hopefully.

So I LOVED THE NEW EPISODES!! And you know me, I love DD, I have no issues with noncon - BUT!! I'm also a softie and my hope for canon is still that Vox and Alastor might reconcile, or open the door to it, by the end of the show. Vox SAing Alastor would make that impossible, so I was very grateful it didn't happen* and I very much hope that won't change in the future, either. So far, I've been feeling great about everything!

*I know there is DramaTM about the cuck scene, and that some people do consider that SA. I don't. In real life? Sure, it would be a form of sexual harrassment. But in fiction, especially in the HAZBIN canon, where so much worse stuff happens? Where murder and noncon and all sorts of crimes are often casual and jokey? It barely registered as anything to me, I don't think Alastor was anything but annoyed by it, and I'm not entertaining negativity around the scene. I adored the episode and the cuck scene, full stop♥

Aw man. That really sucks. But I'm glad at least we lasted through the event, and so many new DD works were created!♥ Will have to think hard on how to go about it next year😩😩😩

What happaned was DD week, Eggplosion submissions, friend birthday, and most of all: my writing muse finally returning so that I managed to finish and publish THREE oneshots - 14k altogether - all just in October! And I'm working on a new S2 inspired fic!

Drabbles were something to make myself feel productive with when I struggled with proper writing. I'm inspired and motivated enough to be momentarily out of the writing slump now, and you can bet I'm gonna milk my muse dry while it lasts. That said, I absolutely plan to return to the dailies because I enjoy them a lot - I just decided to let the rest of October go and pick it back up in November.

Inquiring is always welcome. Acting entitled to fics/art/etc isn't. Maybe you didn't mean to come across that way, but the emoji really didn't help the tone reading.
