Kael, how would you feel if you suddenly got the silent treatment? Like, no reason at all, no warning. But then you see them active on the tl, playing Roblox, calling someone “husband/wife.” We don’t even have a label—we agreed from the start it’s just fwa. But it still stings, y’know? Especially since me, as an avoidant, I’ve been trying so hard to act more secure with them. And then this happens… makes me wonder if I’m just not worth it after all.
I can see why that would get to you. Even if you both agreed it’s just fwa, you’re still a person who deserves respect. So when you suddenly get silent treatment with no reason and then notice them active somewhere else, it’s natural to feel sad by that. That doesn’t mean you’re not worth it. Sometimes people act in ways that don’t line up with the effort you’re giving and that’s on them, not on you.
