Sorry to take so long to answer! I’ve actually been thinking about this, because it made me realize that while I’ve definitely read it, I haven’t ever written this until very recently, in my current WiP. Something about it feels so precious to me, just because of what it would mean to the two of them. Not because of societal constructs, but just because. It’s the very first time anyone has made him feel like that. The first time he’s ever made anyone feel like that. For Chan to allow himself to have that with Felix. To be the first. The idea of Felix wanting and wanting and wanting it to be him. Whether Chan is experienced or if it’s his first time too, even though that’s a very different vibe. Bonus points, of course, if it’s first and only.

Ooh, another fun question! Sorry this took me so long to answer. I’ve been mulling over how to answer, because it involves the events of Yeonbin’s story, which is still a work in progress. Luckily, I am making up for the delay but writing an essay so. Hopefully you find this interesting. 😂

As is mentioned in the series, Chan did a lot of Yeonjun and Soobin’s training when they very first got into kink. The three of them had…a very good time, because obviously Yeonjun and Soobin have great chemistry, and Chan had good chemistry with them as he helped them explore their dynamic together.

In general, Soobin is fairly responsive to his play partner: He sort of fell into training as a Dom and ultimately (with the help of Chris’ reassurance that it is perfectly alright to love it as much as he does) he grows into a brat tamer because Yeonjun is his brat. When it comes to Chris himself, Soobin definitely responds in a way that’s a bit more submissive. As is mentioned in later installments, but I hope is also obvious in Too Much, Chan tends to put people in boxes of sub, Dom, or switch: it’s another reason he was never able to see Felix as not his sub, even when they weren’t actively playing together. Because he was helping Yeonbin train as they were discovering their dynamic, Yeonjun and Soobin’s boxes are slightly more ambiguous, although he seems to box Yeonjun more firmly as ‘submissive’ as time goes on, as seen, for example, in the diner scene in Too Much. I would say that Chris approaches Soobin in a way thats treats him a a Dom while remaining mindful of and responsive to Soobin’s submissive streak. So the way Chris interacts with and trains Soobin very different from how he exists in a training dynamic with Minho, for example.

Fun fact: I could have sworn there is a scene in Too Much where Chris suddenly recalls that Yeonjun identified as a switch, in connection with Felix…but I looked for it and couldn’t find it, so either I cut it…or 200K words is just too hard to search through.
