By I mean on losing basic decency is people would cancel plans last minute because of non-emergency reasons, not showing up to their loved ones, or not even apology when they’re in the wrong. I heard someone said, "well, I don’t care. I don’t have to protect other women feelings." It’s also been topic in non-Indonesian community how the current generation behaves but it seems haven’t reached the local audiences yet.
Hi, sorry for the late reply! Just checking my Alterspring again. I think.. this has something to do with Pandemic and the rising of individualism in internet era. Everyone is struggling and they have no choice other than to save themselves — and perhaps, while doing that, forgot to consider other people. Again, I’m not generalising everyone to have this tendency, but I can see a lot of people do this. And I’m assuming COVID becomes the catalyst of this madness; COVID that happened during their prime / formative years. Well, feel free to share your thoughts yaa!
