You and Nene are going to be the death of me. I mean that in the best way. I'm rereading yoir fics and....😭
The way both of you write friendship into DPIO and TEOU stays with me long after I finish reading. It is not even the center of the story and yet it feels so powerful. It feels real in a way that is hard to explain.
In your writing I see SW ready to risk everything. He would give up his world just to protect JSS and build something safe around him. In Nene’s writing I see JSS standing beside WSW with quiet strength. He supports him without hesitation and feels every bit of his pain.
Your styles are so different. One makes me smile and laugh when I least expect it. The other breaks my heart in the most beautiful way. Still both leave me with the same feeling. A deep ache and a kind of longing. It makes me want something like that. To care for someone like that and to be cared for in the same way.
I came for ChengWei but this friendship is what brought tears to my eyes.

Friendship is really important to me, so maybe that’s why I ended up bleeding those experiences into my story. I’ve been betrayed twice before, and eventually I had to cut ties with them. It hurt, but I guess that’s just how life works sometimes. Not everyone who enters your life is meant to stay, and not every friendship lasts forever. Still, I think those experiences change the way I understand people, and value the ones who truly remain🖤🖤
