I’m currently on my third reread of DPIO and I have to ask (genuinely losing my mind here 😵💫), did you have this entire plot meticulously planned from the start, or are you just out here freestyling brilliance with every update? Because honestly, the way the story flows feels both intentional and delightfully unhinged (in the best way possible), and I’m in awe 🫶
This fic is such a joy (truly a serotonin factory 💫), fun, lighthearted, but still so compelling that I keep coming back like it’s a necessity for my survival. At this point, rereading isn’t even a choice (it’s a full time commitment 😌).
And can I just say (because I HAVE to), something shifted in the ChengWei tag around November and December. The creativity, the range, the absolute audacity of you authors 😤✨ Yours, Nene’s teou, Nogoodreason’s cherry magic , Yunamoon’s Silk veils, and so many others have been carrying this fandom on your backs like literary war heroes (icons, legends). The dedication, the imagination, the emotional damage (affectionate 💔), it does not go unnoticed.
Truly, you all are out here doing the most, feeding us gourmet content while we sit here feral (respectfully), clutching our screens at ungodly hours. It takes so much effort, and I just need you to know it’s deeply, deeply appreciated 💖

To be honest, the plot for dpio wasn't originally supposed to unfold this way. I'd rather not mention the initial idea just in case things change again, but because Xiaoshuai has a habit of running his mouth, the story naturally took this path😗😗
To keep things organized, I always write a detailed outline for every chapter so I have a clear vision of what will happen in the future. I also constantly backtrack to review past events and maintain consistency, even though a few minor discrepancies still manage to slip through the cracks.

My co-authors and I wouldn't have made it this far without your unwavering support, especially when we have to deal with some ungrateful readers along the way.
