I think there is a good chance that you may be surprised at how little people actually care and that maybe you should re-evaluate your relationships with people that would actually seriously think you are a predator for engaging in ficions that give them bad feelings. It's not worth having relationships with people that are willing to ditch someone for something minor like this -- and it is minor, these are just fictions with no bearing on reality and no science backing up the idea that these things lead to harm, same as any other types of fictions that depict crimes or problematic elements. This is something you should internalize. It would be like ditching you for playing Call of Duty and calling you a war criminal. Do you really want to be friends with people like that? Because the line can and probably will move. I decided to stop being around people like this one day, packed my bags and left the groups I was in and kept the people that didn't care (normal) or also liked it (neat) around. These people don't care about me if they ditch me for something completely irrelevant and harmless and thus I don't need to care about them either. Being a shotacon or whatever is not your identity. Your whole being is your identity and if they need to boil you down to some kink you want to engage in and then ditch you for it, then that's their problem. Just make sure you're safe irl, in general I wouldn't really talk about my kinks in polite society but this much should be obvious.
