I think this got lost in last week's network trouble. Do you have a game mechanic you wish you could see explored again?
Oh possibly, I'll make sure to answer it now. Tank controls seem to be the control mechanic du jour when it comes to discourse, but a control scheme I'd like to see more of is how Virtual Hydlide and Megaman Legends controlled where you have free movement on the left hand side and you turned with the shoulder buttons. I feel that the turning could be easily mapped to the right stick and looking up and down mapped to up and down on the right stick.
There's a game that didn't come out in the states called Gungage that I think if you sped up the aiming speed that it would be a fantastic template for a game where aiming finesse was less focused on and it was more a game about positioning and figuring out how to handle what enemies there were in the area, that it could be a real neat game.
