“Flos Regis” is a poetic Latin phrase. “Flos” means “flower” that can also be translated to “the bloom of”, and “regis” is a genitive singular of the word ‘rex (king)’ which means “of the king”. Being put together, the phrase refers to an idea of a flower that belongs to a king.

I chose to use it as a handle for I thought of considering my account as something as cherished as a flower. Something that delicately feels like a refuge of peace, also a revival of weakness and lethargy. And, of course, there’s me being the king to whom it belongs.
