I hope so. Thank you for sharing your pov! I agree with treating everyone equally so we don’t get hurt. But I still don't like how I was kind to people who hurt me in the past.
I kept thinking, "If I were them, I wouldn't do that to anyone." Yet they kept coming back, calling me their best friend, even when I was annoyed and upset. Meanwhile, there were people I barely talked to who defended me behind my back. I overheard them say I would never be rude to someone who helped me. It's not that I hate fair-weather friends. It's just that if they came to me that often, I automatically got invested. Yeah, I guess we just have to keep being kind, and let time and the universe separate who’s real and who’s not. I want to learn how to be chill like you about it 😮💨
You wouldn’t get anywhere if you keep thinking of why does this person keep doing shit to you when all you did was being kind. People’s reaction and doing to us is not something you can control. Just like how you can’t control the weather, you also can’t control of what people think, feels, and do to you. I don’t think it’s necessary to keep dwelling in the same problem that have already passed. Just, accept the shitty acts and move on. I also understand it’s easier to said than done, but believe me, when you start accepting things the way it is and stop asking why, it will feel easier for your heart to move on. I also get it that we tend to get invested in people who seems like they are being kind to us, as for a tip, I think it’s better to keep the hope and expectation all to yourself. Don’t let it spread their wings into the open air and fly high to unknown places. Let it stay with you, hold it close to you, and never let it raise.

I don't think I have any fixation. But if reading something that makes me happy counts, then maybe that's it. I love drowning in a story or writing that shifts my mind to something brighter or more necessary. What about you? Do you have any fixation?
That’s nice to know, reading was my fixation too when I’m a little younger and have more free time. Lately my free time will be filled with my cat and hang out with friends, or trying new coffee shop, or discovering places I never went before. So much fun, to touch grass in my way. I used to work-home-sleep routine before so it’s kinda new to me… lol. Oh my fixation, beside that, is my cat. She’s so cute…

I'll never forget the first time I went to a supermarket without my parents. Me and 4 friends bought a Viennetta Ice Cream with our pooled money for a birthday. Still in our white-red uniforms, we rode an angkot with the window wide open like I was in a movie. We got snacks and the Viennetta. Then we prayed, laughed, and ate it all while freezing. I forgot the price, but not the excitement. Your turn!
Viennetta Ice Cream was one holy-sacred ice cream that I have never tried, it was like a Myth because who the hell spent that much on an ice cream (back then, you are one of them). Anyway it’s nice to know you had a good memories of yourself in a red-white uniform.
My childhood memory was my first love LOL, I remember I wanted to do everything for them not knowing it was a big huge crush feeling that lead me on. I got a bicycle only to flaunt my way to get them ride it with me. It’s… pretty crazy and embarrassing if I need to remember it again. But it was one of the most memorable thing I remember when I’m a kid. :)

How do you know if someone's a real friend or just a fair-weather friend?
Honestly everyone can be your real friend and just a friend on fair weather only, I don’t think you can differentiate them before things happened. Namanya suudzon, tau, and that’s not good for your heart. I’m saying, for your heart, not for anybody sake, but your own. So, the only thing we can prevent is for us to not put so much hope in them. I think it’s just fair to treat everyone equally and let the universe do the work. Ever heard ‘birds of feather flocks together’? I believe if you guys are meant to be, you’ll be with the friends in the same vibe just like you. And the Universe will gradually split the one that are not meant for you, such as, a fair-weather friends. So if you value someone as much, your surrounding will be filled with someone just like you, eventually. Not instantly, but eventually.
