how did you get interested in vtubing?

I was actually interested in streaming for a long while. I used to (and still do) watch vinesauce, Vinny and Joel, and those guys are both really great entertainers and make the whole thing look super fun to do. I liked how they had managed to build communities around them, and it made me wish I could do that too, because then it'd be like having a lot of friends!

But every video I saw about starting streaming all said the same thing: If you wanted to stream you HAD to have a face cam. You HAD to show people your face because they wanted to see your reaction, they wanted to see you get scared and cry when slendy man got you, etc etc. So, despite the fact I was already watching successful and entertaining streamers that didn't use a cam, I got dissuaded because I really didn't want to show my face. Plus, I also just never had a good gaming computer.

Then, you know, 2020 happened and streaming and Vtubing experienced a boom, and learning how accessible doing those things had become made me want to try again. And with Vtubing, I didn't have to worry about my shyness and showing my face! So I used some money to buy a decent computer and actually gave it a try. And now I'm still doing it!
