God this is a good one.

We get this with music in particular. Trinket can't stand harsh music a lot of the time and if she pops up, even in the background, we'll often just turn off whatever we were listening to and regroup. Viper likes things a bit more fast-paced so might change songs, etc. Lately we've had non-music videos on in the background so this hasn't been so much of a thing.

Not exactly the same thing, but if something was especially affecting, or we got a commission or something, we'll go back and check it again and experience it from a different angle. It's not abnormal to feel someone's opinions on something when they aren't fronting, but it'll be a little more clear when experienced more directly.

For games and such, our differences are more a case of 'having more patience for X kind of thing' so it won't be such a direct shift but we're learning to keep it in mind for longer-term projects. We were plinking away at Block Koala a level at a time until July got the bug and did about half of it in one sitting.
