What are your thoughts on celtic paganism? Especially the way people who are disconnected from that culture practice it? (I'm an aspiring pagan and you're a great source of knowledge on this)
I think that whatever it is people are doing is its own thing and they should atleast be transparent about it being ecclectic and not "authentic". Between spotty sources, let alone unadulterated sources, there is no way of knowing what the actual down to earth practices were. And there was so much regional variety in beliefs that rolling them under one "Pagan" mono-theocracy is just heavily inspired larping
