hi, dark fics are allowed, but you must follow all of the prompter's Do Not Wants for a prompt--so if they do not want a dark fic or certain tags, you must follow that. everyone must also tag their fics and provide warnings for their art appropriately--for ao3, in the tags section, not in the author's or end notes. as stated on our website, mods can also pull a prompt or work from the fest for any reason if it is deemed inappropriate.
