Hello, is it possible if we(betareaders) work with 2 author at the same time? And, also, does beta reader sign-up still on?

is there minimum word count for check in? If not how does that look like? ty!
hihi!!! while august’s check in is mandatory, there absolutely isn’t a minimum word count!! so if you’re worried because you haven’t started working on your fic yet, don’t!!!!! there’s nothing to fear ^^ our check in helps us keep track of our slickfesters (and find out who wants to drop out/who needs help etc.) and because of this we’ll ask things regarding your creative process and your progress, but they’ll all be easy questions with zero pressure!! ^^ so dont worry <333

hihi! what do we do if the author we're betaing for hasn't replied to a message in say 6 days?
hihi!! sometimes that can happen so i wouldn’t worry too much! your author might contact you later down the line when they need more help with beta reading ^^ in the meantime, if you’re worried we’d recommend maybe sending another message to check up on them or waiting a little bit longer! if, after some more time has passed, you haven’t heard from them again, you can dm us and we can try to contact them ourselves ^^

how long after fic reveals are the authors also revealed? it seems there are going to be 300+ fics to reveal (WOW) so it may take a bit for all of them to be revealed. i imagine author reveals would be similiarly staggered, but how long is the period when all fics are revealed and still anonymouse? (for the guessing game). sorry if this is listed somewhere! i even tried scrolling down to last years reveals but i scrolled so long i think i past it....
hihi!! thank you for your question, unfortunately, as of right now we cannot give an exhaustive answer regarding reveals' timing since our planning relies on having a good idea of how many submissions we will actually get! we will know more once closer to round #3's reveal date ^^ as always, there will be a period between fic reveals and author reveals to give people time to make their guesses! if you'd like a little glimpse into what last years' reveals looked like, we talked about it here

Hiii, this is a really odd question, sorry ㅠㅠ. Given all the prompts the fest had this year, I was curious if next year the goal for prompts to close the forms will be less than this year 👀. Obviously, probably a lot more prompts will be claimed, so it's not a sure thing. (Even so, there are a lot of prompts, it's impressive, ngl).
Idk if the question may be offensive... if that's the case, I'm sorry for asking dumb things. I love this fest and I'm so excited to read all the submissions in November, I can't wait 🥰
hihi, as of right now, there’s really no way of knowing how we will structure next year’s round! we make it a priority to learn from the current round (and to listen to the suggestions/ideas that we collect in the end-of-fest’s suggestion form!) and plan accordingly for future ones! since we’re currently still focusing on round #3, then, this is something we’ll tackle during our off-season ^^ we hope you can understand :(

for unclaimed prompts i'd like to see: on my knees begging for more reality show or behind the scenes making a tv show prompts to get picked up!! A906 (royal dating show) and A741 (dancing show alpha/alpha pair) look especially juicy to me 👀

for the slickbomb (fun idea!!!!) can we use an anonymous name that relates to a theme on our prompt? or would that be connected to the author?
hihi!! thank you!!! for your name, as long as it doesn’t give away your identity (so it being a reference to your ao3/twt username or identity, a very recognizable profile picture etc.) then it is completely fine!! just make sure to keep your username slickful but reasonable!!! ^^ we hope this’ll be super fun hehe <3
