hi! i found a few prompts i'm interested in filling, but due to IRL circumstances i won't be able to commit to writing fics until December earliest. would i still need to fill in the claiming form if i want to use the prompts, and can i still add it to the collection and tag you?
hihi! as our fest's submission deadline is november 1st at 00:00 KST, december would unfortunately be too late to join this round of slickfest, but it sounds like our off-season would be perfect for you! our off-season is an (unmoderated) period between official rounds where writers can still work and publish slickfest prompts! once our off-season opens, you can start working on a leftover prompt without needing to fill out a claiming form and you'll be able to post your fic to our dedicated off-season collection, here is the one from past rounds! you can read a more detailed explanation of our off-season here and here!
however, keep in mind that, since our claiming period for those who are able to publish during our round #3 is currently still open, it isn't 100% guaranteed that the prompts you're eyeing will still be available by december, so it's important that, when you're ready to start writing, you double-check that the prompts you were interested in are still waiting for you ^^ so, to sum it up, if you're not able to publish before the round's deadline, you don't need to fill out a claiming form now, but you can wait until we open our off-season and join then! we hope this answers your question, if you have any further concerns, feel free to reach out and we will be happy to help ^^

hi hi, can we make our guesses after fic reveals public? like can i say on twitter "i think this is this author!", or should that be left anonymous? for me i think it would be fun to make that allowed, just so i can see who people thinks mine is. also will we be able to see the stats for the guesses at all?
hihi!! in order to maintain the sense of anonymity surrounding the fest and give everyone a fair shot at having their work read, we ask that you keep guesses in dms or private ! public guesses, even though they are unconfirmed, have a tendency to create positive or negative buzz around a fic that can influence people to read or avoid a fic! in terms of stats, yes! you will have the opportunity to request stats after the guessing game is over! we will provide more information closer to that time. ^^

Hihi! This is probably such a non-issue but... could whoever has access to the card update the countdown to submissions? Because it's just been on 0 since the check-in due date, and it's a nice countdown I check sporadically <3 no problem if this won't happen though ofc!

Hello! I was wondering if we get any say in the order our fanfics get released in November?
hihi! in order to make the reveal schedule as fair as we can possibly make it, our mods are very meticulously planning it out based on many factors such as pairing, subgenders, length, while also taking into account time of submission and potential extensions etc., so we unfortunately do not have the wiggle room for author requests!

hihi!! even though the wordcount has been reached by all you lovely writers, slickbomb will still go on until the end of august as it was initially planned!! that means you still have a couple weeks to push the wc up as much as you can!!! we’re so excited to find out just how high it can go ^^ as for what will come after the august deadline… who knows…

i know u said u would release extension details later but do you know how much time an extension could allow? trying to figure out between plot points (,,>﹏<,,)
hihi! firstly, please aim to finish your fic by the deadline! we offer extensions because we understand that extenuating circumstances happen, or that people may have things to do outside of writing that means they need a bit of extra time to wrap up their fics after the deadline. this is why we do not offer extensions until much closer to the deadline - to make sure that everyone tries their best to finish the fic on time!! that being said, extensions start at a few days to a week depending on how long you need during the initial request, but it always varies from person to person. good luck! ^^
