How late is too late to swap prompt

hihi!! prompts can be claimed and swapped until a week before the submission deadline (which is set to november 1st at 00:00 KST), so you have well into october to swap your prompt !! of course, the closer to the deadline, the less time you’ll have to work on your prompt so we recommend planning accordingly!!! hope that answers your question ^^ <3

Hi! Just curious as this is my first fest, but is reveals on the schedule when the fics will start to be posted or when it's author reveals? Also why does it have no date yet (TBD)?
hihi!!! welcome!!! when we talk about reveals we mainly are referring to fic reveals, so what you see on the schedule refers to when fics will start to be posted!! otherwise we always specify if we’re referring to author reveals!! and we still don’t have a date for fic reveals because the schedule is very dependent on how many submissions we get, so we will know more after our check-in!! but rest assured that once we have a date, we will of course let you all know about it ^^ thank you for your patience and understanding!!!! <3333

Hi! I uploaded my fic to the collection 🥳🥳 but I was just wondering if this now means that I can no longer edit it? Not that I need to, but I tried checking to see if I could see it on my own account (hidden from others ik) and there is no trace of it 😂
hihi!!! congrats on uploading!!! yayyy!!! if you ever need to edit your fic, you can find the it by going to your ao3 dashboard and clicking the “edit works” button you see under your username!! since it is still unrevealed, it won’t appear as it usually does on your account, but it’s there!!!

Would it be okay if I continued writing a wip that was from a previous round that I ended up dropping out of? Enough has changed between originally claiming it in round 2 to now that it’s considerably different from the original prompt, but I don’t want to overstep given it was originally a slickfest prompt :)

Hello! I've just finished my fic 🥳 How do I upload it to the collection? (I also can't seem to actually find the collection?) I've never participated in one of these before so I'm a little lost haha 😄
hihi!! you can find the instructions here!!!, to find the collection you can type in “slickfest26” in the “post to collection” section of the ao3 upload page!! you can type the first letters and it should pop up on its own :))) if you need more specific help, you can dm us and we’ll guide you !!!

Hi mods, I've checked the FAQ and didn't see this anywhere, but I might have missed it. I've finished my story and ready to post it to the collection. I know there will be a form to complete but do I need to join the collection first and upload then complete the form, or as it's before the first check in do you need to see a version of the fic first?? Soz if this is a dumb question - I just want to get it right!! :)

hai mods ^-^ i'm so sorry if this has been explained anywhere else but i've been going through the masterthread and asks on here and i couldn't find the answer !!
would we potentially be able to swap out our prompt? like ..if someone hypothetically got over excited by seeing a prompt they loved but didn't think through the fact it involves multiple tropes they've not written before and maybe bit off more than they could chew when they claimed it ..would that person be able to sorta give that prompt back and swap for an unclaimed one? and if yes, what would be the best way to reach out to discuss this?

hihi!!! thank you so much for the lovely question!! believe us, we are also super parasocial towards all slickfesters hehe, it’s very much mutual :3 as for the fun facts mmmmh let’s see… some of our mods have single-handedly canonized the existence of cheese slick for us and it has led to some … interesting conversations ((like what specific cheese flavor slick we’d have)) and prompts for this round that you might have stumbled into while browsing our prompt masterlist! we are also all forcibly living in our slicktator’s (slick dictator) basement and we’re absolutely NOT allowed to leave .. but that’s okay because we’re pretty much bonded for life and we are thriving here!! we love each other very much and we’re very happy and excited to be working for this wonderful community hehe ^^
