Is there a maximum amount of art pieces to submit for the page/merch artists application or is there a recommended amount you would suggest to put?
There's no strict maximum number of pieces you can submit, but 5 should be more than enough! 🤗

Are we supposed to submit up to 3 or at least 3 pieces of art for the artist application? (The instructions are different on the google form and google doc and i wasn't sure which one i should follow)

Hi do the three characters and three ships we choose have to be from the same character pool?
Hi! The characters and ships you choose can be any 3 from the whole list of characters (the character pool). Any pairing/grouping works as long as you see their name on the table :) They don't have to be in the same team to be paired up 🌟

can i add more than 3 characters/groupings in my application? i have multiple id be interested to write and dont know how to cut them down
You can add up to 5 characters/groupings but please make sure to rank them based on who you'd like to work with the most!

Hi! Will the zine be free? And if not, what will happen with the earnings? Ty!^^
Hello! The zine is for-profit 🌟 We will be using the earnings of the zine mainly for production costs of the physical zine and merch (bundle inclusions, add-ons, and stretch goals).
Aside from that, it will also cover the benefits for all contributors of the zine, such as the full zine bundle for page artists and writers, and merch of merch artists, should the profit be sufficient. Any leftover profit after benefits are covered will be distrubted evenly amongst our contributors to keep or donate to charity! We want to make sure our writers and artists are compensated for their hard work ❣️

hi! apologies if this is worded oddly -- if you're applying as a merch artist and you want to submit an image of (for example) charms as a sample, can you submit an image that contains multiple charms or do you have to pick one charm you like and only use that as the sample? thank you :)

Can you make 2 applications for being a merch artist and page artist?
Hi, if you mean you want to apply as both, the form allows you to do it as one application!
After choosing a role (for ex. page artist) and uploading your portfolio, there's a question at the end that asks you if you want to apply for the other role (ex. merch artist). If you choose yes, it should take you to the submission page for merch/page artist applicants! We'll post a screenshot that takes you through this process on our social media 🫶
Please be reminded that, while you can apply for both, you may only be accepted for one role :)
