While not the original Yan Yoonbum anon, think about it— him cutting himself in front of Sangwoo during one of the chapters so that way he could get tended to, when he was involved with that one girl from high school he would constantly bring up her history of abuse to demean her and show her that he was the only one who stuck with her during that time.
