How to recommend something I wrote to a moot without pushing it or being annoying? I feel like I have internet friends that haven't read my work (which is fine), and I feel like some stuff I wrote are their cup of tea, but it feels so awkward to send it... Idk why, it feels like im being inconvenient.
honestly, I think just popping in their dms with a simple “hi, I don’t wanna bother but i just wanted to drop this here. I feel like it might be up your alley! no pressure to read tho, dont worry!” I get it’s awkward but i’ve been there and i’ve received messages like that and I personally get all giddy when people send me their fic and think of me. just go for it! everyone is so so soooo nice, I promise it’ll be okay! 🩵
