why delete your fics when you could just orphan them? so many of your works have touched people and changed their entire lives, i don’t think you understand the scale of it. you posted on an internet ARCHIVE, love. you have the right to make the decisions you make, but keep in mind that AO3 is meant to be an archive and not some site like Wattpad that’s more of a flighty social media site. That’s why options like orphaning accounts exist, so that lost media is discouraged.

i hope you’re doing well. please, please reconsider and think about lost media and those who aren’t following your Twitter who might log into AO3 and suddenly the fic that changed their life is just… poof! gone. that sounds heartbreaking and as a writer and avid reader myself, I honestly can’t imagine losing a catalogue of nearly 200 works.

Hii, I just felt the need to say something idk... I just wanted to tell you, even though a lot of people have already, your writing did in fact impact a lot of people. I'm someone who gets really attached to stories and it really touches me when it's obvious the author cares about their characters, like it is in your case. I remember reading ''It's you I hold onto" and it left me with a very odd feeling. I know I'm probably gonna sound very dramatic over fanfiction but idc because it's anonymous lol. Okay anyways, that's probably my favorite works of yours and one of my favorite fics in general. The story is so beautifully heartbreaking and like, I ended up binging it in a single night and crying almost the entire time hahah. I still keep yapping about it to my friends too, like seriously it moved me so much and it's just a very special story to me. It means a lot to me in a very weird way, I can't even explain it. I think you really do have a gift when it comes to writing and I'm so happy you shared it with so many people and that I and everyone else got to experience it! I'm a little sad(understatement lmfao) the I won't get to open ao3 and see gems like "aita for cheating on my husband(M50) with my step-son(M19)" anymore, or see you binge posting MULTIPLE DAYS IN A ROW, like actually crazy stuff, you're that one tiktok sound from Hamilton, HAMILTON WROTE THE OTHER 51 dramatic music....
